Johnson County, Ky: Sheriff’s deputies responding to a wreck early this morning in Johnson County discovered an intoxicated driver with a stolen car and stolen cellphone. The incident happened shortly before 6 this morning at Sitka. When deputies arrived, they found 26-year-old Steven Wayne Jr., of Sitka, who appeared to be under influence. They also learned that the car he was driving and his cell phone had been reported stolen. Wayne was arrested and charged with two counts of theft, public intoxication and resisting arrest. Once he arrived in jail, authorities there allegedly found him with meth. He now also faces additional charges of possession and promoting contraband for that discovery.
