POUND, Va. — A man has been arrested after a woman was stabbed in Wise County.
Sheriff’s deputies were called the 8000 block of Main Street in Pound, over a report that a woman was bleeding and screaming for help. Deputies found the woman and discovered she had been stabbed several times.
The woman was taken to a local medical facility and is said to be recovering from her injuries.
After investigating, deputies arrested Kerry Wynn, of Pound, on charges of aggravated malicious wounding and attempted second-degree murder.
He is being held without bond at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail at Duffield.
