HAZARD, Ky. — A racy homecoming activity at Hazard High School is being investigated, after pictures of the event generated public outcry.

The school posted pictures of the event on its Facebook page, but deleted them after they received a negative reaction from some parents.

The pictures showed male students dressed in bikinis and lingerie performing lap dances on faculty and staff, including principal and Hazard Mayor Donald “Happy” Mobelini. Another picture showed female students dressed in Hooters girl outfits.

Hazard Independent Superintendent Sondra Combs has told the media that the incident is under investigation and appropriate action would be taken once that is complete.
