PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — One person is dead following a two-car crash Sunday night on Route 114 in Floyd County.

It happened around 9:30 Sunday night. Police say Keith Anderson was driving a 2010 Honda Insight, when he crossed the center line and struck a 2010 Chevy Cobalt driven by Kenny Auxier.

Both drivers and a passenger in Auxier’s vehicle, Kayla Elam, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Elam later died of her injuries.

The incident continues to be investigated by Kentucky State Police.
