PIKEVILLE, Ky. — One of the two Pike County inmates who walked away from a work detail more than a month ago is now back in custody.
Larry Foster, 42, of Burnside, was booked in the Pike County Detention Center Monday evening.

Foster was previously being held on a 10-year sentence for theft charges out of McCreary County. He now faces a new charge of second-degree escape, a felony punishable by up to five more years in prison.
Foster was part of a jail work crew June 16 when he and 30-year-old Logan Hall, of Mousie, slipped away. Hall remains at large.
Anyone with information on Hall’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at (606) 433-7711.
