It all began Thursday night in Pike County, when a 2010 Honda Accord fled from Kentucky State Police on Route 460. The car crossed into the Virginia, where the pursuit was picked up by Virginia State Police and the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle led police east to Harmon, then turned around and headed back west, until it crashed over an embankment at Big Rock.

The driver of the car — identified as Bradley Pinion, 28, of Mouthcard — was discovered to be wanted in Buchanan County for a probation violation from a previous drug charge. He now faces additional charges of eluding law enforcement, destruction of property, trespassing and abduction.

A passenger in the vehicle was not charged.

Both occupants of the car were taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
