Back in April, Ralph Thomas, 33, of Phelps, allegedly damaged a door and broke a window at the home. The arrest warrant notes he once lived in the rental property but had to leave due to pending court cases.

Although a charge of criminal mischief was filed following that incident, police had never been able to arrest him.

Police say Thomas returned to the home on Sunday and held two adults and two children at gunpoint, repeatedly saying he would kill them. He is also accused of taking a phone from one of the victims and smashing it on his knee.

Thomas is now charged with four counts of wanton endangerment, four counts of terroristic threatening and two counts of criminal mischief. He is being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
