Pike man faces potential life sentence in federal drug, gun indictment

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pikeville man has been charged with distributing drugs in Pike and Floyd counties in an eight-count federal indictment.

Joshua “Fudge” Habern, 40 was indicted on Thursday. He is charged with:

  • Possession of more than 50 grams of meth with the intent to distribute in Floyd County
  • Possession of more than 50 grams of meth with the intent to distribute in Pike County
  • Possession of more than 40 grams of fentanyl with the intent to distribute in Floyd County
  • Distributing fentanyl in Pike County
  • Two counts of felon in possession of a firearm
  • Two counts of possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime.

If convicted of using a gun in a drug crime, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
