GOODY, Ky. — A Pike County man is said to be in critical condition, after be was struck by a car early Wednesday morning.

According to Kentucky State Police, 39-year-old Steven Hackney, of Hatfield, was attempting to cross U.S. 119 at Goody just before 3 a.m., when he was struck by a car.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

KSP continues to investigate the incident.
