PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man will spend more than eight years in prison, after his conviction on federal drug charges.
Casey Collins, 39, of Raccoon, pleaded guilty back in April to possession of meth and fentanyl with the intent to distribute.
In his plea agreement, he admitted to having 228 grams of meth and nearly 42 grams of fentanyl in his possession when sheriff’s deputies raided a Floyd County home where he was staying last April. He also admitted that he intended to sell the drugs, and that he had sold drugs to undercover informants on four occasions in Pike and Floyd counties.
Last week, a judge sentenced him to serve 102 months in prison. He was taken into custody immediately following the hearing.
