HINDMAN, Ky. — The superintendent of Knott County Schools has died.

Kim King died on Saturday, at the age of 56. She leaves behind a husband and daughter.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m., with visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday.

All Knott County schools will remain closed until Thursday.
