Pike shooting suspects arrested in Lewis County

SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — Three suspects believed to be responsible for a shooting in Pike County have been arrested in northeastern Kentucky, following a search spanning half the state.

Officials tell Mountain Top News that the shooting happened at a home in South Williamson Friday afternoon. There are unconfirmed reports the suspects shot three people, at least two of which died.

The suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a white Dodge Charger, possibly en route to the Cincinnati area.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office tells Mountain Top News that their units became involved in a pursuit of the Charger once it reached their jurisdiction and the suspects were ultimately arrested in Lewis County.

The pursuit ended just a short time ago, and the sheriff’s office says police and the suspects are still on the scene where the chase ended.

Identities of the suspects and victims have not yet been released.

This is a developing story. Mountain Top News will have more information, as soon as it becomes available.
