SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — A Magoffin County man was arrested Wednesday night after he allegedly called in a bomb threat.
Shortly after 10 p.m., Christopher Lee Caldwell, 32, allegedly called dispatch and said that he had placed bombs at the library and Williams Electric. He also reportedly told a dispatcher he had knocked out his uncle.
A deputy found Caldwell screaming and running down the street in front of his uncle’s Old Lick Creek Road home. When the officer asked him how much meth he had used, he reportedly replied, “Enough to kill the county.”
Caldwell was arrested and charged with falsely reporting an incident, public intoxication, terroristic threatening, menacing and disorderly conduct.
