PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pikeville man was arrested Monday evening, charged with possession of child pornography.

Lonnie James Maynard, 53, was arrested at his home by Kentucky State Police just after 5:30 and charged with 10 counts of possession of child porn. The charge carries a potential sentence of 5-to-10 years in prison.

Few other details about the case were made public in court records, except that the material was found on Maynard’s electronic devices last week and the victims in the case were younger than 12.

Maynard is currently being held on a $10,000 cash or property bond in the Pike County Detention Center.
