FLAT GAP, Ky. — Three people were arrested on drug trafficking charges, after police received a tip about a shipment of a large quantity of drugs.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office went to the Flat Gap home of Timothy Morman, 53, armed with a search warrant after receiving the tip. When they arrived, Morman spotted them coming to the door and fled into the house in what police believe was an attempt to dispose of drugs.
Inside the house and in the back yard, deputies discovered meth, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, LSD and marijuana, along with a number of firearms, at least one of which had been reported stolen.
They also found a secret room in the house accessible only through a crawlspace in the bathroom. Two women were found inside that room, identified as Tiffany Roberts, 25, of Pikeville, and Sabre Napier, 30, of Wittensville.
Morman was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, LSD and marijuana, along with felon in possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property. Roberts and Napier were also arrested and charged with complicity to the drug trafficking charges. All three remain in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville.
