PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Knott County man charged with federal drug and gun charges now wishes to change his plea.
Brandy Slone, 42, of Pippa Passes, asked a judge that be he be allowed to enter a guilty plea, after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors. His motion does not provide any details of the plea agreement.
Slone is accused of distributing meth and felon in possession of a handgun, after Kentucky State Police and the ATF used a confidential informant to purchase meth from him on several occasions.
He was set to go on trial April 10. That has now been canceled and a re-arraignment hearing has been scheduled for April 13 in Ashland.
Slone remains in the Pike County Detention Center.
