VERNER, W.Va. — Acting on a tip, police recovered a large amount of drugs Monday in Mingo County.
The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. 119 Drug Task Force, and Gilbert Police received a tip about drugs being delivered to a home at Verner. During a search of the home, officers found more than 90 grams of meth, 44 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of crack, more than half an ounce of marijuana, 101 hydrocodone tablets and 12 amphetamine pills, along with nearly $2,000 in cash.
Arrested were Matthew Cantrell, 47, of Gilbert; Malcolm Hamilton, 30, of Jonesboro, Ga.; and Joshua Armond, 30, of Decatur, Ga.
All are charged with possession with the intent to deliver and other charges.
