Three charged with trafficking following Betsy Layne drug raid

BETSY LAYNE, Ky. — Three people were arrested on drug trafficking charges, after the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office raided a home at Betsy Layne.

Deputies went to the home located on School Street on Friday, armed with a search warrant. Inside the home, they found an open safe in the living room, where they found 433 grams of meth, 5 grams of crack cocaine, 12 grams of heroin, 34 grams of fentanyl and an assortment of pressed pills.

Deputies arrested the three residents of the home — Casey Collins, 38; Chasity Smith, 32; and Jenna Smith, 29.

All three were arrested on multiple counts of drug trafficking, along with trafficking within 1,000 feet of a school and other charges.
