WHITMAN, W.Va. — A complaint about drug dealing resulted in a Logan County man being sent to jail.
Sheriff’s deputies went to the home of Dennis Cooper, 46, of Whitman, and explained why they were there. Cooper consented to a search of his home, but reportedly told deputies they would find some meth and a set of scales inside.
The search did turn up the scales and 74 grams of meth, as well as smaller amounts of heroin, pills and marijuana.
Cooper has now been charged with possession with intent to deliver, as well as five counts of drug possession.
