TOMAHAWK, Ky. — A Martin County man and woman face drug trafficking charges, after police found a large amount of meth hidden in their truck.

A Martin County sheriff’s deputy was patrolling Milo Road, when he saw a truck with a sign blocking the rear window veering over the center line in a curve.

The deputy wrote in his report the occupants — Larry Joe Horn Jr., 58, and Brandi Moore, 35, both of Inez — appeared nervous and were shuffling around inside the truck after he pulled them over.

Inside the truck, police found about 7 grams of meth and several pills, but the big find came when they popped the hood. Hidden between the radiator and front bumper, police found a bag containing another 78 grams of meth.

Horn and Moore were also found with more than $1,200 between them. They were arrested on two counts of drug trafficking and other charges.
