
JACKSON, Ky. — A Lexington man who backed his truck over a hillside and into a tree in Breathitt County, found found himself facing drug trafficking charges, after a state trooper responding to the accident reportedly found him with heroin, meth and a large amount of cash.
The officer was dispatched to Jett’s Creek Road after a caller reported the wreck. When he arrived, he found 30-year-old Jonathon Bolton laying across the seat of the truck.
A search revealed Bolton had a gun, a bag of cash and a bag of heroin in his pockets, and the officer found another bag of meth in the truck.
He was arrested and now faces drug trafficking, DUI and several other charges.
