LOGAN, W.Va. — An investigation of possible drug activity at the lodge at Chief Logan State Park resulted in the arrest of two Huntington residents.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office went to investigate the complaint and found nearly a pound of meth, more than 37 grams of heroin, three guns and more than $4,200 in cash.
Craig Michael Carter, 34, and Rena Rene Redmond, 34, were arrested. Both were charged with conspiracy and possession of heroin with the intent to deliver. Carter was also charged with prohibited person in possession of a firearm, while Redmond was charged with possession of meth with the intent to deliver.
Both are being held in the Southwestern Regional Jail in Holden.
