Victims were remembered at UPike’s candlelight vigil

UPike School of Social Work and Turning Point Domestic Violence Services held a candlelight vigil to honor victims of domestic violence. The vigil was held on the 7th floor of the Health Professions Education Building at UPike where students, faculty, and survivors promoted awareness of domestic violence. Turning Point’s Executive Director, Connie Little says that their organization serves over 200 women a year of the Big Sandy region.
