ABINGDON, Va. — A Wise County woman has been sentenced to time-served, after pleading guilty to federal drug charges.

Brittany Chantae Rose, 38, of Pound, pleaded guilty in November to conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of meth and more than 40 grams of fentanyl. She admitted to working with at least five others who have also been charged.
In court records, she admitted to traveling to Kentucky and North Carolina to buy distribution quantities of meth and fentanyl, then reselling the drugs in Wise County.
In total, she admitted to participating in the distribution of least 350 grams of meth and at least 280 grams of fentanyl from 2021 to 2024.
During a hearing in Abingdon federal court, the judge sentenced her to time-served in the case. However, she will remain under supervision for four years.
