PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A woman who was arrested in Pikeville on warrants out of Floyd and Fayette counties found herself in more hot water, when she allegedly took drugs into the jail and then assaulted a guard.
Bethany Hall, 38, of Betsy Layne, was arrested late Sunday night. When she arrived at jail, a strip search turned up a bag of marijuana and more than 80 pills of various types.
Once the drugs were discovered, Hall allegedly got angry and bit the guard, leaving teeth marks on her hand.
Hall now faces additional charges of assaulting a corrections employee, promoting contraband and drug possession.
