ROCKHOUSE, Ky. — A Pike County man faces felony charges over a report that he fired a gun into a house with people inside.

Police were called to a home on Marrowbone Creek Road over the incident. When they arrived, Jason Phillips told police that Jordan Damron, 33, of Peter Fork Road, had come to his house and began arguing with him from the road.

Phillips told police that told Damron to leave, but he continued approaching him, so Phillips threatened him with a baseball bat to get him to leave. Phillips said Damron then backed away, but then reached into his pocket, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at the house.

Phillips said he and two other people on the porch ran into the home and closed the door, when they heard a gunshot from outside.

The incident was captured on a security camera, which police reviewed.

Damron was later arrested and charged with three counts of wanton endangerment, which is punishable by up to five years in prison. He remains in the Pike County Detention Center.
