Woman charged with striking paramedic

kickJOHNSON COUNTY, KY.–It happened Sunday at Highlands Plaza Apartments after officers responded to a complaint of a woman out on a balcony of one of the apartments screaming.

According to the arrest citation, when officers arrived 44-year old Jennifer Ison of Isonville did not know who she was, where she was and smelled strongly of alcohol. Officers called for an ambulance and when they arrived she began fighting and kicked a paramedic in the chest. Ison was then tased and transported to Paul B. Hall Medical Center. After being medically cleared she was charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, menacing and 3rd degree assault.
