PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A former Letcher County teacher already charged with raping a 14-year-old has now been indicted in federal court.

Charles Evans Hall Junior, 47, of Jackhorn, has now been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor in the new case. The indictment alleges Hall coerced a minor to engage in sexual explict conduct that was filmed throughout most of 2018, while he was a teacher at the Letcher County Alternative School.

He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

He is currently being held in the Letcher County Jail.
