BELFRY, Ky. — Funeral arrangements have been announced for a Belfry Middle School student-athlete who died last week.

Noah Jase Cross, 14, died Friday at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, following a battle with meningitis.

Visitation will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Belfry. Funeral services will be held in the Belfry High School gymnasium on Thursday, beginning at 11 a.m.

R.E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is in charge of arrangments.

There will be no school Thursday at Belfry Middle, Belfry Elementary, Belfry High or Bevins Elementary.
