PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Johnson County woman is soon expected to enter a guilty plea in a federal drug case.
Samantha Nichole Daniels, 36, of Nippa, also known as Samantha Webb, was indicted back in September along with Aaron Tyler Welch, 30, of Thealka. They are each charged with conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of meth, as well as two counts of possession of meth with the intent to distribute.
Now, Daniels is seeking to enter a guilty plea, after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors. Her motion for rearraignment does not specify the terms of the agreement.
However, two of the charges carry potential sentences of up to life in prison, while the third has a maximum of 20 years.
Welch is still scheduled to go on trial in February.
