ASHLAND, Ky. — A Lawrence County man has been sentenced to 57 years in prison on federal child porn charges.

Dale Allen Fraley, 50, of Louisa, was found guilty by a jury of five counts of producing, four counts of receiving and one count of distributing child pornography.

According to evidence presented at his trial at the U.S. District Courthouse in Ashland, Fraley used various online personas to befriend young girls and then threaten them to force them to engage in sexual acts on camera. He also coerced some of the girls to come to his home and would record himself engaging in criminal sexual activity with them.

Parole has been abolished in the federal prison system, but Fraley could still get “good time” credit, meaning he would likely have to serve about 50 years.
