NORTON, Va. — Authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for a southwest Virginia man accused of attacking a woman and child.

Norton Police were called to a home just before 4:30 Friday morning, over a report of a domestic assault.
After interviewing witnesses, police say they believe 40-year-old Sean Daniel Roberts seriously injured a woman and a child with a weapon. Felony warrants have now been obtained against Roberts.

He is described as 6 feet tall and 150 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who spots him or can provide additional information about the case is asked to contact Norton Police at (276) 679-1212.

Virginia State Police and the U.S. Marshals Service are assisting in the investigation.
