A two-vehicle car crash has left one woman dead Friday afternoon in Pike County.

Kentucky State Police said at approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday Jessica Goble was driving a 2009 Cadillac CTS on Chloe Road in the Pikeville area of Pike County when she crossed the center line and hit Eddie Wolford, the driver of a Chevrolet 3500.

Goble was taken to a nearby hospital were she later died from a result of her injuries. Police gave no information at this time of Wolford’s condition.

KSP Accident Reconstructionist Trooper Matt Smith is investigating the collision.
