A house fire Saturday evening claimed the life of a Pike County man.  Just after 7pm, fire crews responded to calls of a house fire just off Elkhorn Creek Road.  After the fire was extinguished and a search of the home could be conducted, a body was located inside.  Kentucky State Police officials say 58 year Bennie Tackett was pronounced deceased by the Pike County Coroner’s Office.  No foul play is suspected.  The investigation is ongoing, pending the results of an autopsy.
