ELKHORN CITY, Ky. — The Quick Stop in Elkhorn City was the target of an armed robbery Thursday night.

Just before 8:30, a man walked into the store wearing a black ski mask and gray hooded sweatshirt, and brandishing a firearm. The man demanded money and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
