PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man has been arrested after he reportedly admitted to molesting a young girl.

Homer Lee Tackett, 58, of Penny Street, was accused by a 15-year-old girl of sexually abusing her between the ages of 5 and 10.

On Tuesday, he underwent a lie detector test. The results of that test were not made public, but afterward police say he confessed to the charges.

Tackett is now charged with first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse. He is being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
