Pikeville man arrested following chase on U.S. 23

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man faces numerous charges following a police chase on U.S. 23 Sunday afternoon.

Just before 2 p.m. Sunday, Pikeville Police attempted to pull over a Chrysler 300 that had been reported stolen out of Ohio. Kentucky State Police joined the chase in Coal Run.

The car continued north on U.S. 23, striking three police cruisers during the pursuit.

The chase ended near Tram and the driver, 21-year-old Daniel Brock, of Pikeville, was arrested. A woman and an 18-month-old child were also in the car.

Brock has been charged with fleeing police, wanton endangerment, DUI, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, and other charges.
