UPDATE, JAN. 19: Pikeville Police report that Sowards has been located and is safe.

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who has been not been seen for more than a week.

Chasity Nichole Sowards was last seen Jan. 7 at the Pike Villa Apartments near Bob Amos Park. In a Facebook post, Pikeville Police Department says she left with an unknown male in an unknown vehicle and has not been seen since. Police say she could possibly be in Knott County.

She was last seen wearing a black and white shirt with floral or lace design, light blue jeans with holes, and neon green/gray slip-on, cloth Nike shoes.
