TOMAHAWK, Ky. — Authorities are investigating after possible human remains were found in Martin County.

The remains were found behind a home on South Milo Road, at Tomahawk.

The area was secured so a secondary search could be conducted on Tuesday.

The remains are being sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for possible identification.
