LOVELY, Ky. — Deputies executing a search warrant ended up taking a Martin County man to jail on drug trafficking charges.
Deputies went to a home on Long Branch Road just after midnight on Thursday. When they arrived, they say that James Bailey, 47, ran away and hid in the woods.
When they caught up with him, they allegedly found him in possession of meth, marijuana, pills and workout supplements that they say could be used to cut meth. Back at the home, they found 27 grams of meth, numerous Xanax bars, Tylenol 3 capsules, individual bags of marijuana, digital scales and $1,800 in cash.
Bailey was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth and marijuana, drug possession and numerous other charges.
