PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was shot to death Tuesday in Pikeville.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers were called to a home on Mossy Bottom Lane over a reported shooting.

Police say the initial investigation indicates Veronica Ray and Bobby McCown were involved in an altercation when Ray shot McCown.

McCown was taken to Pikeville Medical Center, where he later died.

At this time, no charges have been filed. The results of the investigation will be presented to a grand jury to consider for possible indictment.
