ABINGDON, Va. — A Wise County man has been charged in federal court with distributing meth.
Wesley Dylan Ramos, 31, was arrested following a traffic stop in February.
Court records indicate Ramos was pulled over for swerving, and he subsequently blew a 0.115 on a breathalyzer, nearly one-and-a-half times the legal limit. While searching him during his his arrest, police found a sock containing meth, cocaine and pills stuffed down the front of his pants.
After the arrest, police conducted interviews with multiple confidential sources, who described Ramos as having sold large amounts of meth and other drugs since as far back as 2010.
Ramos has now been charged with distributing meth. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 28.
He is currently being held in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail at Haysi.
