HAGER HILL, Ky. — A Johnson County woman recently indicted for meth trafficking found herself facing another count of the same charge when police went to arrest her.

A state trooper went to pick up Samatha Leigh Fyffe-Jarrell, 34, of Hager Hill, on Tuesday, after she was indicted for meth trafficking and persistent felony offender charges last week.

When the officer asked her for her driver’s license, she told him it was in her purse and said he could get it out. But when he opened the purse, he allegedly found a bag of meth, along with some digital scales inside.

Jarrell was additionally charged with meth trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
