LEXINGTON, Ky. — A woman wanted in connection with the death of a Pikeville man who went missing back in June has been arrested.
Sky Smallwood, 37, was arrested Saturday by police in Lexington. Jail records indicate she was arrested at Day’s Motor Lodge.
She will now face charges of abuse of a corpse, arson, tampering with physical evidence and persistent felony offender in Pike County.
The case involves the death of Wesley Hook, who was last seen June 10. A burned car with human remains believed to be Hook was found July 3 on Robinson Creek.
Police believe he was killed at the Alpike Motel in Floyd County.
Two other people — Krystle Williams and Eric DeLeon — have also been charged in the case. A fourth person — Enos Little — has only been arrested on drug charges, but police say he also had knowledge of the case.
