PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man has been arrested on kidnapping and strangulation charges, allegedly dragging a man from his home.
Police were called to a home on Ferguson Lane Saturday afternoon, after a woman reported that Clinton Williams Jr., 50, of Pikeville, entered the home where she was staying, grabbed her boyfriend, forced him into a car and then drove away.
Pikeville Police spotted Williams driving the car a short time later and pulled it over. An officer approaching the car noted another man in the car was in visible distress and crying.
The passenger told police that Williams had grabbed him by the throat and forced him into the car, then drove him to a remote area and tried to fight him.
In addition to kidnapping and strangulation, Williams is also charged with resisting arrest and DUI.
