LENORE, W.Va. — U.S. Senator and two-time presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has been holding events across the country to rally against President Donald Trump’s agenda. Now, that tour will wind its way through Mingo County.

Sanders will bring his “Fighting Oligarchy Tour” to the Lenore Community Center on Saturday, Aug. 9. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., with the event starting at 1 p.m.

The stop is one of three the Vermont senator is making in West Virginia. The day before, he will visit Wheeling. After he leaves Lenore, he will head to Charleston for another event that evening.
