PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Pikeville Police pulled over a man on a bicycle Thursday and came away with a drug trafficking arrest.

Police had a home under surveillance for suspected drug activity, when they saw Santiago Medosa Hortis, 45, of Pikeville, ride up on a bicycle, go inside for a few minutes, and then leave. After leaving, they say Medosa illegally crossed two lanes of traffic on Hambley Boulevard, so they pulled him over.

After getting his permission for a search, police found a small amount of meth and more than $20,000 in cash on Medosa.

He was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth.
