Deputies go to home searching for a suspect, but arrest three others

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — Deputies who went to a Floyd County home in search of a suspect didn’t find him, but did end up arresting three other people.

Deputies went to the home on Hillside Center Drive, in Prestonsburg, looking for a man around 11 Sunday morning in search of a suspect. They were greeted at the door by 60-year-old Greg Crace.

Crace told the officers that only he and two women were in the home, but allowed them to come inside to look. As they walked through the home, they spotted Jessica Brown, 43, in a bedroom with a bag of meth in front of her.

The deputies then obtained a search warrant for the home and found more than 2 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia.

They also found Tiffany Clifton, 28, hiding under a mattress. She was taken into custody for fugitive warrants in a pair of drug possession cases.

Crace and Brown were also arrested and charged with meth trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brown is also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon after they found a gun in the room with her.
