PIKEVILLE, Ky. — It didn’t take long for the first baby of 2025 to be born at Pikeville Medical Center.

The hospital announced that Lydia Jade Robinson was born at 2:46 a.m. on Jan. 1. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Lydia is the daughter of Leslie Howell and Matthew Robinson, of Pike County.

As is tradition, PMC is waiving all costs associated with the delivery not covered by insurance.
