Paintsville bounced back from its first loss all season long to defeat Jenkins, 2-0, in the 15th Region All “A” Classic played on Monday night.
Hailey Little totaled 14 kills, two digs and six serving aces in the 25-11 and 25-6 win. Kara Ward added eight kills while Hadley Hardin had six and two digs. Bella Blackburn finished with two kills and 27 assists.

Pikeville shutout East Ridge for the third time this season as the Lady Panthers scored a 2-0 win in the 15th Region All “A” Classic played on Monday night.
Courtlin Phillips had four digs for the Lady Warriors while Sarah Woods had nine assists and two digs.

Betsy Layne swept a doubleheader from Lawrence County, winning 3-0 and 2-0 in matches played on the road Monday night.
Katie Kidd had five kills, 10 blocks, nine digs and 10 serving aces in the 26-24, 25-16 and 28-26 win. Alyndra Meade finished with 12 kills, one block and three digs.
Madi Meade totaled three kills, 29 digs and one ace while Lauryn Watkins had 13 digs and Ashley Caudill added 12.
Lindsey Watkins had two blocks, 28 assists, six digs and four aces.
In the 2-0 win, Madi Meade had 18 digs and four serving aces as the Lady Bobcats won 25-19 and 25-16.
Caudill finished with 10 digs and two aces while Lindsey Watkins had 10 assists, three digs and five aces. Emily Johnson had one kill, two blocks and nine digs.
